Snoopy World Tour 2
HOT DOGS

The Snoopy World Tour 2 set was released in Australia in November 1999.
A special tray liner was used earlier in November to announce the new Snoopy set coming.

There were 21 different Snoopys in the WT2 set
20 of them are different from the Snoopy World Tour 1 set which was released in Asia and the UK in 1998.
Snoopy Australia appeared in both sets.

The Asia Pacific Snoopy World Tour 2 set included eight extra Snoopys.

The Snoopys were available to purchase with any burger or muffin.
The cost for each Snoopy was $1.00 in Western Australia and South Australia and $1.20 in the Eastern States.

All figures are made from hard plastic and stand approximately 9cms tall,
each Snoopy wears the traditional costume from the country represented.

One Snoopy was released each day for 21 days, the first was Snoopy Jamaica on 19th November.
A till-topper calendar was changed daily to reveal the next Snoopy released.
The calendar included the release date for each Snoopy and "Snoopy's Passport" for each country.
Scroll through the calendar to see the whole journey.
When the current Snoopy was sold out the calendar was marked "DOGGONE"

Snoopy South Africa appeared but was not included in any official WT! or WT2 set.

Two different sized posters were displayed during the promotion.
Large posters measure 1000cm high and 660cm wide,
small posters measure 430cm high and 280cm wide.
The pictures are the same on the large and small posters.

The Tray Liner used in the promotion included an address where a Display Box could be purchased.
