Once or twice a year, McDonald's Australia issue "filler toys" in between special promotions
or to be kept on hand in the event of a store running out of the current week's promotional toy.

During 1999  McDonaldland™ Character "Changeables" were made available as filler toys.

The set includes the four characters:

Ronald McDonald_™ who changes into a bird,
Hamburglar_™ who changes into a tiger,
Grimace_™ who changes into a whale,
And Birdie_™, who changes into a polar bear.

A leaflet inside each toy packet has a picture of the toys on one side and instructions for the toys on the other side.
