Zoomballs were available for purchase in early 1995 with the theme "How Far Can Yoy Throw"
Each ball has a wind-up mechanism which starts a timer when the ball thrown.
The distance the ball has travelled is shown on the timer.
The balls, made from hard plastic, measure approximately 8cm diameter and include:

orange Basketball,
red Aussie Rules Football,
pink Netball,
white Soccerball.

A regional issue in New South Wales & Queensland only substituted the red footy ball with a
Yellow Rugby League Football.
