In September 2006, McDonald’s Australia released a new Happy Meal® menu item called Pasta Zoo™.
The meal included animal-shaped pasta filled with roasted vegetables and cheese, Ripper Gripper™ tongs to handle the pasta,
a tomato pasta dipping sauce called Zoo Goo™, a milk drink, and a flavoured sipahh™ drinking straw.

Eight new characters new introduced to promote the zoo theme:

Leon the Lion, Sheldon the Turtle, Raj the Elephant, Tim the Camel, Rex the Rhino, Peta the Penguin, JoCee the Hippo, Oshi the Seal.

Four new generic Happy Meal® Boxes featuring the Pasta Zoo™ characters, special boxes for the pasta,
a Pasta Zoo™ translite and a tray liner were introduced.
