Once or twice a year, McDonald's Australia issue "filler toys" in between special promotions, clean-up weeks,
 or to be kept on hand in the event of a store running out of the current week's promotional toy.

During 2006  McDonaldland™ Characters Sports Accessories were made available as filler toys including:

Water Bottle and Character Stickers,
Hamburglar's Bat and ball,
Ronald & Grimace's Basketball and Hoop,
Ronald's Whistling Flyer.
