McDonald's Australia sponsored the "Australian Idol"
talent competition and in November 2003 issued a
karaoke DVD and a special
tray liner, featuring the two finalists:
GUY SEBASTIAN and SHANNON NOLL.
The "Australian Idol" karaoke DVD was released by McDonald's Australia to
support young Australian talent and McDonald's also contributed $1.00 from
the sale of each DVD to the "Ronald McDonald Charity House"
The DVD is PAL multi-regional format and runs for 25 minutes.
It contains
the advertising material used by McDonald's during the competition and also
songs by some of the contestants:
Mark Stockley - sings the Beatles "Let It Be"
Natalie Ferguson - sings "Son of a Preacher Man"
Eli Diache - sings Sarah McLachlan's "Angel"
Cle Wootton - sings Diesel's "Come To Me"
